The Good Will Scholarship for 2021 commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Wichita South High School class of 1971.   It will assist the selected 2021 South High School graduate with the cost of attending an Historically Black College or University (HBCU) beginning in the fall of 2021.   All Wichita South graduating students are eligible to apply.

Funding the scholarship connects members of the Class of 1971 and friends with the young people walking today in the same hallways our class did 50 years ago. It reconnects us to our experience as South High students in a special way.  Social justice and equality issues that confronted us then confront us now. This scholarship, offered by friends and members of the last graduating class branded “Colonels”, conveys our Good Will for the class of 2021, our commitment to fostering a more enlightened world, and our belief in the ability of young people to make change.

All contributions  less Gofundme  transaction fees  will be transferred to Wichita Unified School District 259.
